Ticketing is at the heart of Oscar, and we provide you with all the tools you need to start selling tickets both online and face-to-face. Oscar's drag-and-drop seating plan designer allows you to create unlimited seating plans, and you can schedule one-off shows or runs of events - with free or allocated seating - in just a few clicks.

Oscar provides total flexibility when it comes to pricing, discounts, ticket printing, delivery options and house seats, all within a modern, easy-to-use software package. Oscar's sales interface is fast and intuitive: a single ticket can be produced in just two clicks. Seat availability is updated in real time as customers buy online and elsewhere in the venue.

Café Bar

If you run a café or bar at your venue, there is no need for a separate till system - Oscar handles everything from payment processing right the way through to reporting and stock control.

Oscar has been designed around the concept of "ticket-at-any-till". This means that, at each sales point, it's extremely quick and easy to sell not only tickets but drinks, food, merchandise and more, all in a single transaction.

Items such as interval drinks can also be sold online, and merchandise purchased online can be dispatched by post or collected from the venue thanks to Oscar's powerful delivery options.


Oscar comes with a clear, fully functional booking website allowing your customers to buy tickets, sign up for e-news, join/renew as Friends or Members, and purchase merchandise, drinks and gift vouchers via the web. Online shopping is simple and secure, and seat availability is shown in real-time.

In order to help promote your brand, and to reassure your customers that they are in the right place, we go to great lengths to ensure that the booking site is completely in keeping with your main web site. The booking site can operate either standalone or embedded within your main site - the choice is yours.

Oscar also has a built-in Content Management System (CMS) to allow you to control online content.


Targeted marketing couldn't be easier with Oscar. You can use customer preferences, show details and event information along with purchase history to create lists of patrons to target. Emails are then composed and sent from within Oscar, and you can include web links to enable customers to book for upcoming shows with minimal effort.

Oscar also allows you to create and manage multiple membership schemes (individual or joint). Each scheme can run for any time period (season, year from issue, life etc.) and benefits (free tickets, discounts on tickets/drinks, etc.) can easily be defined for each scheme. Priority booking is also supported and members can sign up and renew either in person or online. Membership Cards can be issued and scanned/swiped at the point of sale.


Oscar comes with a full set of built-in reports covering box office, café/bar, membership, gift vouchers, cash control and finance.

There is also a powerful ad-hoc query builder within Oscar, allowing you to extract any data that you may require. We are very happy to assist with more complex queries as needed.

Auditability is a key feature of Oscar. Cash discrepancies can be recorded on the system either at the end of a shift or at the end of day, and reconciliation with bank accounts is quick and easy.

Information Gathering

The first stage of the process is for us to understand exactly what you do, how you do it, and what you would like to be able to do in the future. We want to gather as much information as possible because we want to be sure we can meet all of your requirements. We will also need to learn about your existing patrons and membership schemes.

Payment Gateways

Chip & PIN card payments are fully integrated into Oscar and funds are deposited directly into your bank account. The same is true for secure Online payments. In order to set up Chip & PIN and Online card payments, there are certain steps that must be taken with the banks. We will go through each step with you to ensure everything is set up correctly in advance of the launch.

Data Import

Before switching off your existing system, we will need to transfer information into Oscar. Customer data, purchase history and advance ticket sales can all be transferred. We will do dry runs before the final cutover to avoid any downtime at go-live. We have a wealth of experience in this area.

Online Sales

We believe that it is important for your online customers to feel secure when purchasing tickets from you. For this reason, we will ensure that the online booking pages we provide are integrated with your existing website. We will take time to set up online booking in collaboration with you and/or your web developers, to ensure that your brand is represented faithfully.


Oscar supports a wide range of hardware including Star, Epson, Citizen and BOCA printers. We can supply hardware, or you can re-use existing hardware to reduce costs and waste.

Training and Support

We provide in-depth training to key users, which we combine with the initial system setup. Once you are live, we provide 24/7 telephone and email support, all of which is provided by our expert team.
